What the Association Does

The general purpose of the WLA is to be “Care Takers” of the lakes of Tetonka and Sakatah.

Specific examples – 

  • Secure funding to treat invasive species in the lakes
  • Oversee and monitor the treatment of aquatic invasive species
  • Gather data on the lakes to assess the health of the lakes
  • Be an active partner in pursuing more effective water management
  • Gather and communicate lake-related information to the community
  • Provide leadership and support during lake-focused issues, e.g. flooding
  • Organize social gatherings for lake residents to foster community.
